Frequently Asked Questions About Our Content Strategy For Law Firm Marketing
What Is The Word Count Minimum Of Your Articles and Blogs?
There isn’t one, and that’s deliberate. Word count minimums exist because they’re easy to sell and easy to bill, not because they produce better content.
Good content explores a topic in depth. But often, long-form minimum-quota content is the shallowest, bulking out articles with repetitive or unnecessarily long-winded explanations. That doesn’t just make your content unappealing to general audiences, it makes it much less likely to attract AI bots looking for trustworthy sources.
When we create content, we ask more important questions than “how long is this,” including: does it actually answer the question the reader has, completely, in language that demonstrates real expertise. Sometimes that means we need about 750 words to explain things. Sometimes it’s 1,500.
The length follows the topic, not the other way around, which allows us to convey authority and expertise, not verbosity. Exactly how it should be.
Isn't Word Count Important For Page 1 Rankings?
We’ve done extensive research into this topic. The truth is, although word count numbers get thrown around a lot in this industry – 1500, 2000, even 3000 – we’ve never been able to track down the primary source of these claims. Every version we found pointed back to “an SEO study” or “industry research,” but never to an actual dataset or methodology anyone could check. That’s worth knowing before a firm builds its content strategy around hitting a number someone else made up.
What we have found is that John Mueller, Google’s Search Advocate, has even said that word count is not a ranking factor. In fact, he’s even warned against blindly adding length to a page just to hit some kind of arbitrary minimum.
What really matters is Experience, Expertise, Authority, and Trustworthiness. All of which we provide.
Who Writes The Content, & How Do You Ensure The Accuracy?
Our in-house team writes every piece, with subject matter built around the specific facts and nuances of each topic. Nothing goes to draft without the facts being verified.
If you’ve ever worked with a law firm marketing agency before, you’ve probably been through the excruciating content approval process. Reading through 1K+ word articles to verify the veracity of all the claims being made. It’s tedious, and it takes real time out of your day that you could be spent doing literally anything else.
We reduce that burden substantially. Before we write the article, we send you a short outline covering exactly what topics the piece will cover and the facts it’s built on. And because you’re just glancing at a summary and giving the green light, this process usually takes a few minutes, not a few hours.
Once approved, we write the full piece around your firm’s voice and style, so what gets published genuinely sounds like you.

How Do You Decide Which Content To Produce Each Month.
It’s all part of the strategy.
Every quarter, we review your campaign metrics and your competitors’ performance, and set goals based on what we find. From there, we map content directly to those goals: if a competitor is pulling ahead on a specific practice area, that becomes a content priority. If your own data shows a gap where potential clients are searching but you’re not showing up, that gets addressed too. Nothing gets written just to hit a monthly quota. Every piece has a reason tied back to your actual numbers.
You can also request specific content based on your firm’s unique needs, whether that’s a new practice area you’re expanding into, a recent case result you want to highlight, or a topic you know your clients are asking about.
Who Owns The Content You Produce? What Happens To It If I Leave?
You purchased this content and it belongs to you.
We’re confident that you’ll love working with us and that you’ll want to stay a client with us indefinitely, but we know there may be unforeseen reasons why we have to part ways.
In the event that our partnership ends, you keep all the content we’ve created on your behalf. We also never duplicate your content for use with other clients.
